ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Compliant Mats are designed to alert the visually impaired when walking on or off of a sidewalk, train platform, marina dock, stairway or any other potentially dangerous area. Detectable Warning Systems are typically found in the color yellow with a dome top surface, but can also be found in other colors and surface types for use in specific areas.  

Our ADA Compliant Matting Systems are constructed of a UV resistant, heavy-duty fiberglass composite material and meet or exceed ADAAG, FHWA, California Title 24, state and local requirements. These ADA mats are also backed by a 5 yr warranty against material defects and workmanship. 

Commercial Mats and Rubber offers two types of ADA Compliant Tiles. The first type is the Redi-Mat System which is a Peel-N-Stick Mat that can be adhere and anchored down over an existing surface. This is the easiest and most cost effective way to add an ADA Matting System. The other type is the EZ Set Tile which is a cast in place tile used in new construction. The ADA detectable warning mats are recessed into the concrete instead of laying on the surface.
